OXFORD FROZEN FOODS LIMITED, Oxford location, has openings for Line Supervisors.  These roles are responsible for every aspect of the production process related to the lines.  Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the effective and safe operation of the lines.

 

You must be able to work unsupervised and work a variety of shift schedules. Excellent judgment and solid problem solving skills are required.  As a leader, you must motivate, communicate effectively and work well with others.  A strong technical aptitude and sense of urgency are mandatory.

 

This position will appeal to individuals who have proven competencies in the following areas: leadership, initiative, organizational skills, continuous improvement, knowledge of the business, health and safety and good food safety practices.

Forklift operators

Oxford Frozen Foods Ltd., the world’s leading producer of Wild Blueberries, and one of North America’s leading manufacturers of frozen carrots and battered and breaded products, has several positions available in our facility in Oxford, NS.  Shift work will be necessary as this plant operates seven days a week.

 

Forklift Operators

 

  • Experience preferred, however will train
  • Full time and seasonal positions available (accepting student applications)

Harvester Machine Owner/Operator & Labourer

Bragg Lumber Company the world’s leading producer of Wild Blueberries, and one of North America’s leading  farming operators has owner/operator positions available in Pennfield, New Brunswick during our peak blueberry harvest season during August and September.

Must be able to operate a tractor and will be away from home in remote /rural locations.  Must provide your own harvesting equipment and tractors.  

Required Skills:
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Good working knowledge of farm (or heavy equipment) and ability to         operate tractor and harvester
• Able to work in a fast paced  physically demanding environment
• Ability to multi task

Very specialized skill – as it relates to blueberry harvesting.

Wages are $13.00/hr.

Farm Labourer

Bragg Lumber Company the world’s leading producer of Wild Blueberries, and one of North America’s leading farming operators has immediate labourer positions available on our Aylesford, Nova Scotia farm.

Workers are required to perform repetitive tasks, involving lifting between twenty to sixty pounds frequently, squatting, and working long hours in support of wild blueberry farming. You will be caring for and moving flats of bees to pollinate blueberry crops.  Experienced workers are paid $13.03/hr.
