The Opportunity

Acadian Wild Blueberry is currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to be based out of Bois-Gagnon, New Brunswick.  This position will report to the Engineering Manager located in Oxford, NS.

The ideal candidate is expected to pro-actively identify where processes can be adapted and optimized to ensure cost effectiveness. Throughout the design and implementation process, the Process Engineer will verify practices for efficiency and accuracy in order to ensure that they are safe and improve quality.

The Process Engineer must possess the capabilities to facilitate the change process within the organizations products and processes. Specifically, the Process Engineers duties will include developing an in-depth knowledge of: our supply base; strengths and weaknesses of internal procedures and business processes; strengths and weaknesses of equipment; and the strengths and weaknesses of key personnel who contribute to the quality of the products and services offered by the organization.

In this position, you will have exposure to refrigeration, electrical and mechanical disciplines through production process improvements and capital projects.  You have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering in either the Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical discipline. Ideally, you have PLC, AutoCAD and processing experience.  A team player, you are computer literate with strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have proven hands- on abilities and experience, and significant team management, leadership, and motivational experience.

LE POSTE
L’entreprise a un poste d’ingénieur des procédés de fabrication à pourvoir à son usine de Bois-Gagnon (N.-B). Le titulaire relèvera du directeur de l’ingénierie, à Oxford, en Nouvelle-Écosse.

Le candidat idéal devra déterminer proactivement comment les processus peuvent être adaptés et optimisés pour assurer le meilleur rapport coût-efficacité. Tout au long du processus de création et d’implantation, le titulaire vérifiera l’efficacité et la
précision des procédés pour assurer la sécurité et l’amélioration de la qualité.

Le titulaire doit être en mesure de faciliter le changement au sein des produits et des processus de l’entreprise. Plus précisément, il devra acquérir une connaissance approfondie de la base d’approvisionnement; des forces et des
faiblesses des procédures internes et des procédés commerciaux; des forces et des faiblesses de l’équipement; ainsi que des forces et faiblesses du personnel clé, qui contribue à la qualité des produits et des services offerts par l’entreprise.
À ce titre, vous toucherez aux domaines de réfrigération, électrique et mécanique à travers l’amélioration des processus de production et les projets d’investissement.  Vous détenez un baccalauréat en ingénierie, soit en génie mécanique, industriel ou
chimique. Idéalement, vous avez de l’expérience en PLC, avec AutoCad et les processus. Capable de travailler en équipe, vous connaissez l’informatique et possédez d’excellentes habiletés pour les relations interpersonnelles et pour la communication à l’écrit.

Le candidat idéal possédera une solide expérience et des habiletés démontrées, etune très grande expérience en gestion d’équipe, en leadership et en motivation.

As Production Supervisor you will be responsible to oversee and efficiently run the plant’s daily production activities including food safety, health and safety, and quality assurance.
