Reporting to the Plant Manager, the successful candidate will have knowledge of food processing and GMPs, problem solving skills and strong oral and written communications skills.  An undergrad Science degree is an asset.  Must be able to work independently and as part of a team and be organized with a professional attitude.

Candidate must be able to work flexible hours including weekends.

You have a proven ability to lead a team of technicians and guide the facility regarding HACCP requirements, audits and complaints whether internal, from customers or suppliers.

Line Supervisor 

 

OXFORD FROZEN FOODS LIMITED, Oxford location, has openings for Line Supervisors.  These roles are responsible for every aspect of the production process related to the lines.  Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the effective and safe operation of the lines.

You must be able to work unsupervised and work a variety of shift schedules. Excellent judgment and solid problem solving skills are required.  As a leader, you must motivate, communicate effectively and work well with others.  A strong technical aptitude and sense of urgency are mandatory.

Oxford Frozen Foods is currently seeking a full time Computer Technician to join our IT group to support day to day operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and upgrade of all computers and peripherals, running on various Windows platforms. Working on a team your role will be to support the users by maintaining the installed base of desktop solutions. In addition to desktop devices our organization operates a complete ERP solution with both fixed and mobile data collection devices. Your responsibilities will include the maintenance and installation of these various devices.

In addition, you will participate in technology project teams to develop and implement new systems and processes.

The ideal candidate will have a Post-Secondary designation, experience working as a Computer Technician, you will have in-depth knowledge of personal computers from both a hardware and software perspective. You will be comfortable with various networking protocols and have a basic understanding of a TCP/IP networks. Our solutions operate on multiple servers running UNIX, LINUX and Windows; knowledge in these areas would be an asset. Increased automation on the plant floor requires this position to support this initiative. You enjoy working in a team environment and have the capacity and desire to expand your IT skills. You will be required to be on call, and there will be some travel involved to our other facilities.
