La Compagnie acadienne de bleuets sauvages ltée est une division du Oxford Food Group, la plus grande entreprise de transformation du bleuet sauvage.

Nous cherchons présentement à pourvoir des postes de superviseur de la production pour la Compagnie acadienne de bleuets sauvages. Relevant directement du gérant de la production, le superviseur de la production sera une personne énergique et motivée, aura de bonnes aptitudes pour les relations interpersonnelles et une habileté à évaluer et à optimiser les machines d’usine.

En qualité de superviseur de la production, vous serez responsable de diriger et de superviser efficacement les activités quotidiennes de production de l’usine, incluant la sécurité alimentaire, la santé et la sécurité, et l’assurance de la qualité. Vous ferez preuve de leadership et mettrez sur pied de solides processus de gestion des ressources humaines et de santé et sécurité. Vous saurez entretenir de très bonnes relations avec les employés.

Le candidat idéal détiendra une certification postsecondaire, aura une connaissance pratique de la suite Microsoft Office, de l’expérience dans une usine de transformation des aliments, de l’expérience comme superviseur, et sera bilingue.

Acadian Wild Blueberry along with Peninsula Foods Limited, are a division of the Oxford Food Group, the world’s largest processor of Wild Blueberries.

We are currently recruiting Production Supervisors for our Acadian Wild Blueberry processing plan in Bois Gagnon, New Brunswick. This position will report directly to the Production Manager. The Production Supervisor will be a motivated self-starter with good interpersonal skills, and the ability to assess and optimize plant assets.

As Production Supervisor you will be responsible to oversee and efficiently run the plant’s daily production activities including food safety, health and safety, and quality assurance. You will demonstrate leadership and develop strong Human Resources and Health and Safety processes. You will develop excellent employee relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a Post-Secondary designation, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, experience in a Food Manufacturing Facility, Supervisory experience, and be bilingual.

OXFORD FROZEN FOODS LIMITED is the world’s largest processor of Wild Blueberries and one of North America’s leading producers of frozen carrots and battered vegetable products.  One of the keys to our success has been our ability to be a low cost producer with a proven customer satisfaction focus.  We have an immediate opportunity for a Maintenance Planner in our Battered Products facility located in Oxford.

The Maintenance Planner position is responsible for assisting with the development of reliability based maintenance strategy, based on preventive and predictive maintenance. They will work directly with the Maintenance Manager and maintenance team. The Planner will work independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks.

The Planner position requires hands on maintenance experience and will be utilized when needed. All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company.

The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge in the food or manufacturing industry.  You must have excellent organizational skills and be able to communicate easily with co-workers and customers and work enthusiastically in a team environment.

Workers are required to perform repetitive tasks, involving lifting between twenty to sixty pounds frequently, squatting,  and working long hours in support of wild blueberry farming.  You will be caring for and moving flats of bees to pollinate blueberry crops.

 

This is an eight month full time seasonal position from April to November.

 

Wages $13.03/hr.

Requirements and Duties:

 

  • Grade XII education or equivalent preferred
  • Experience operating lift trucks would be an asset  (either counter balance or high reach)
  • Must be able to work unsupervised and work well with others
  • May be required to work in freezer temperatures
  • Computer training and food safety training will be an asset
  • Safety training will be required
  • Must be able to keep organized, up to date records and keep work area tidy

Must be able to operate a tractor and will be away from home in remote /rural locations.  Must provide your own harvesting equipment and tractors.  

Required Skills:
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Good working knowledge of farm (or heavy equipment) and ability to         operate tractor and harvester
• Able to work in a fast paced  physically demanding environment
• Ability to multi task

Very specialized skill – as it relates to blueberry harvesting.

Wages are $13.00/hr.
